Dear Parents
Football Tournament Well done to Luke Harrison, Bob Evans and Charlie Hickson, who joined with Richard Thornton’s Primary School to form a football tournament – they won every match they played at the tournament!
Easter Disco There will be an Easter Disco on Monday 22nd March from 3.30-4.45pm for pupils from Reception to Year 5. Your children are welcome to bring in a change of clothes for the disco. There is a charge of £2.50 per child for the disco and will include food and a drink. Please complete the reply slip attached.
Easter Breakfast The Easter Breakfast will be held on Wednesday 24th March. The menu is as follows: Soft boiled eggs, buttered toast, orange juice and hot cross buns. Please could all pupils remember to bring an egg cup! There will be a charge of £1.00p per child towards the cost of the food.
There will be Easter Bonnet, Decorated Egg and Easter Card competitions once again.
Cycle Awareness Programme for Year 5 Pupils There are still some consent forms which haven’t been returned, please return tomorrow, Friday 19th March. Thank you to those parents who have volunteered to help, we still need one more volunteer – please contact Mrs Dawson or Mrs Jeffrey if you are able to help.
Quarry Race This is on Saturday 20th March – we are delighted that so many of our children are taking part in the Quarry Race tomorrow. The children will need to be at Settle Middle School car park for 9.30am as there is quite a walk from there to the starting point for year 4 and 5 pupils. PLAYGROUP ASSISTANT REQUIRED Giggleswick Pre-School & Playgroup, Parish Rooms, Bankwell Rd, Giggleswick, Settle Required from: Wednesday 14th April 2010 Duties: We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic person to join our small and friendly team. Duties will be to care for 2-4 year olds in a safe, stimulating environment. Duties will also include planning, observations and maintaining records. Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Childcare required. First Aid is an advantage but not essential. Knowledge of EYFS desirable.
