Our school has an active PTA who regularly organise fundraising events and social occasions.

This year the committee is busy organising the following events:

• A Mile of Pennies - Children will be asked to save 1 pence coins in order to try to make a mile of pennies
• Austwick Street Market
• Jewellery Recycling
• Bags2School
• Refreshments are provided at all school events by the PTA, these include Book Fairs, Sports Day, Parent's Evening and Christmas Concerts / Nativity Play.
• The PTA Presents Y5 leavers with cameras to record their last days at Austwick School
• The PTA subsidise the Humphrey Head trip for Y5 each year.

Parents and staff are involved in the PTA and freely give their time to support the work of the school.

In the Autumn Term, the PTA supported the school by providing funding for:

• Theatre Visit to see Sleeping Beauty
• Foundation & KS1 Numeracy Resources
• Foundation "magnablocks" Play Resources
• 2 Digital Cameras (Foundation & KS1)
• Beebots for use in the KS1 Classroom

 In the Summer Term, the PTA are providing funding for a school visit to the South Lakes Conservation Park.
