Austwick Foundation Unit opened in September, 2006 and caters for up to 13 three and four year olds together with Reception-aged children, all working within the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.

It is a purpose-built facility that is stimulating and vibrant.  The children experience a wide range of play-based activities that are fun and exciting. Our children are happy and are encouraged to be independent and can engage in play indoors and out, as they wish. We enjoy frequent walks in and around the village and make use of the Playing Fields.

Free places are available for children aged 3 & 4 years, with children able to start after their 3rd birthday.   Staff do home visits prior to children starting in the Foundation unit in order for the child to get to know the staff in the comfort of their own home.
